How to produce parts in Carbon Fibre for yourself, the myth un-raveled

Whether you want Carbon Fibre on your car for the "Bling factor" or for strength/lightness, there is no getting away from the fact it is very sought after in the Car world. For this very reason, it's perishing expensive so the answer is ..... make the parts yourself.

Below is a brilliant article written by Chris B Baker and originally posted on the BARF forum (Bay Area Riders forum) which takes you step by step on making a fuel tank for a friend's SV bike.

Whilst this is a bike tank, the process is the same for any part you wish to make. It is very informative with plenty of pictures and suggestions along the way.

If you want to create a masterpiece of your own, then this is a must read.

If you have any questions, I'm sure Chris would be happy to help, he can be contacted via his Email
