~ Tigger's Pics ~

I've realised I don't have that many pics of my car so here they are. It's a 1992 SE fitted as then, with a Lotus 907 engine but registered 2003 as it was previously used for track days only.  It's still in the process of being sprayed yellow forgive the colouring.

Spec of Car:

This is a 1992 Westfield SE - built by someone else who used it for drag racing.  I have rebuilt it (See my build), rewired it and I'm currently in the process of re-spraying it.  These pics will be updated when I get chance. In the middle of a spray job, I lost interest and decided to change the engine for a Vauxhall XE engine.

Engine as it is now:
  • 2.0 16 valve XE from a Calibra
  • Twin 45 Dellortos with 36mm chokes
  • Vauxhall 8v Distributor and coil
  • ARP Rod bolts
  • Special alloy sump
  • Early Vauxhall flywheel

  • Power :
  • Not rolling roaded yet - Hope for 170bhp

  • Exhaust :
  • SBD 4-2-1 exhaust manifold
  • Wunoff 6" silencer

  • Suspension :
  • Standard Spax adjustable dampers all round
  • Cortina uprights
  • Escort Live axle with 4.1 ratio

    Gearbox :
  • Ford Type 9 with standard ratios
  • Modified gear-lever

  • Cooling system :
  • VW polo aluminium / plastic radiator
  • Pacet fan

  • Dashboard / Interior :
  • Home made dash fitted with yellow ETB intruments

  • Working on :
  • Fitting an Omex rev limiter as I don't want to wreck the engine
  • Finishing off the spray job
  • Fit an engine management system some time
  • Possibly fit a close ratio gearbox
